We Had a Fantastic Concert!

October 5, 2013 ~ 4th Annual Concert to Remember
Having the event at the Medway High School this year was very powerful and moving for all of those who were part of it.

We are deeply grateful for the powerful energy of love and inspiration that was brought to the concert this year through the addition of youth performers from the organization Open Fields in Dover/Sherborn. I owe specific thanks to Keith Greenfield and Sarah Clancy from Open Fields for their support and direction. They were amazing! The Open Fields theatre group has been performing for more than 10 years. Performances include musicals such as "13 the Musical", "Wizard of Oz" , "We are Family", and "Musicals are Magic". Click Here to learn more about this nonprofit organization. The candlelighting remembrance ceremony was held and we remembered and missed over 70 loved ones, including parents, children, aunts, uncles and grandparents. The real candles flickered around the stage and up to the second level of the seats and back again. When the pictures of all of our loved ones finished on the big screen, there wasn't a dry eye in the house. The coming together of the Open Fields kids and the Ben Speaks Chorus was amazing and magical. We also would like to thank so many of the performers who gave their time and heart to help us. We appreciate your continued support of Ben Speaks and our mission to shift the mindset from fear/competition to love/collaboration and give hope to all kids to see a place for them to thrive and be valued in the world for their innate gifts, no matter what challenges they face.Thank you also, to TC Scoops and Dunkin Donuts of Medway who donated delicious Ice Cream and Coffee.

RAFFLE
We had a raffle at the end of the concert, with prizes including 2 tickets to any Boston Bruins Home Game, a massage, a restaurant gift certificate, a hair salon certificate, a certificate to Legacy Place, and a chocolate cornucopia for Thanksgiving. Congratulations to WAYNE HEADLEY of Medway, whose name was picked.
